The Suhr Standard was introduced by Suhr in 1997 and remains in production today. Suhr has been building instruments in the United States since 1997. You may also see this listed as "Standard Plus", "Standard Legacy" — they refer to the same instrument.

Buying Guide

• 1Play the guitar unplugged first — if it resonates and sustains well acoustically, it'll likely sound good amplified.
• 2Check the frets for wear. Flat spots and divots mean a fret level or refret may be needed ($200-400).
• 3Plug in and test every pickup position, and roll the tone and volume knobs through their full range to check for crackling.
