Frequently Asked Questions
What is Treblemakers?
Treblemakers is a search engine that helps you find used musical instruments across multiple online marketplaces. Instead of checking Reverb, eBay, and Guitar Center separately, you can search all of them at once with AI-powered natural language queries.
Is Treblemakers free?
Yes, Treblemakers is completely free to use. We earn a small commission when you purchase through our links, but this never affects the price you pay.
How does the AI search work?
Our AI understands natural language queries. You can type things like "Fender Stratocaster under $500 in excellent condition" and our system will automatically extract the brand, model, price range, and condition to find the best matches.
What sources do you search?
We currently search Reverb, eBay, and Guitar Center Used. We're adding more sources regularly, including independent music shops.
How fresh are the listings?
Our scrapers run regularly to keep our index updated. Plus, when you search, we also query marketplace APIs in real-time to catch the very latest listings. Real-time results are marked with a "LIVE" badge.
Can I sell instruments on Treblemakers?
Not yet. We're a search aggregator — we help you find instruments listed on other marketplaces. Direct listing support is planned for a future update.
How do affiliate links work?
When you click "View on Reverb" (or any marketplace), you go through our redirect which may include an affiliate tracking parameter. If you purchase the item, we earn a small commission. The price you pay is the same either way.
I found an issue with a listing. What should I do?
Treblemakers aggregates listings from third-party marketplaces. If you have an issue with a listing's accuracy, pricing, or availability, please contact the marketplace directly. For issues with our search or website, email support@treblemakers.shop.
