Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 2026
Disclosure: Treblemakers earns affiliate commissions when you click through to a marketplace and make a purchase. This means we have a financial relationship with some of the marketplaces we link to. The price you pay is never affected by our commission.
How We Make Money
Treblemakers is a free comparison shopping engine for used musical instruments. We search across online marketplaces and present them in a single search interface to help you find and compare the best deals.
When you click a "View on" link and make a purchase on one of our affiliate marketplace partners, Treblemakers may receive a small commission from that marketplace. This is called an affiliate commission.
What This Means for You
- No extra cost. The price you pay on the marketplace is the same whether you arrive through Treblemakers or directly. Our commission comes from the marketplace, not from you.
- We may earn a commission. If you click a link on Treblemakers and complete a purchase from an affiliate partner, we may earn a percentage of the sale. Commission rates vary by marketplace.
- Not every link earns us money. We index listings from many sources regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with them.
- Results are not ranked by commission. Our search results are ordered by relevance, price, and condition — not by which marketplace pays us more.

We currently have active affiliate relationships with the following marketplaces. Links to these sources include affiliate tracking, and qualifying purchases earn us a commission:

FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides, which require clear disclosure of material connections between publishers and the products or services they recommend.
We believe in full transparency. If you have questions about our affiliate relationships, please contact us.
Editorial Independence
Our affiliate partnerships do not influence how we display or rank search results. Listings are indexed from marketplace APIs and ranked by relevance to your search query, price, condition, and recency — never by commission rate or affiliate status.
