Buying Guide

• 1Test the footswitch — it should click firmly and engage/bypass cleanly without pops or signal drops.
• 2Check that all knobs turn smoothly through their full range. Scratchy pots are cheap to fix but indicate age or neglect.
• 3If the pedal uses a battery, check the battery compartment for corrosion. If it uses a power supply, test with a standard 9V center-negative supply.
